Use the Law of Attraction to Build Your Business

Have you ever had something you wanted just fall into place; come to you through an out-of-the-blue phone call or by coincidentally meeting someone on the street? Have you ever met the perfect client or life partner–just by being at the right place at the right time?  Many of us have various ways to describe this phenomenon; serendipity, coincidence, fate, karma, luck, it was meant to be, self-fulfilling prophecy, what comes around goes around, and success breeds success. All of these expressions describe what is known as the Law of Attraction.

Law of Attraction can be defined as: You attract to your life whatever you give your attention, focus and energy to, whether wanted or unwanted.

If you wish to attract more money, referrals, clients, contracts, business partners, or anything else your heart desires, it is essential to understand the workings of the Law of Attraction.

The first step is to know more about our use of Declarative Statements and how they contribute to Law of Attraction. A Declarative Statement is a positive statement of what we want to attract, that elevates our mood or feeling. Examples include: "I love the way money comes to me effortlessly in expected and unexpected ways.", "It feels so good knowing that business comes to me in all seasons." and, "I love the way my reputation attracts clients to me."

When people fail, it's often because they have unconsciously made Declarative Statements to themselves that are negative, such as: "Money comes in one hand and out the other.", "I take one step forward and two steps back." or, "My business slows down during the summer months." These statements have negative feelings and moods attached to them.

Re-read the definition of Law of Attraction: We attract into our lives whatever we give our attention to, whether wanted or unwanted. Law of Attraction responds to these negative feelings and gives us more of them. Law of Attraction does not know whether it is something you want or not; it simply responds to your mood or feeling and gives you more of it.

Each time you hear yourself make a Declarative Statement that does not serve you, simply restate it and offer a better mood or feeling. Here is a quick way to turn a negative statement into a positive Declarative Statement.

Simply ask yourself: "So, what do I want?"

The moment you define what you do want, you start to experience a new mood or feeling, and Law of Attraction will respond to this better mood or feeling.

Over the next few days, start to notice what is appearing in your life, that is, what you are attracting. Then think back to what mood or feeling you may have offered that could have attracted what appeared. You'll soon find yourself manifesting more and more of what you do want, and less of what you don't want, by deliberately putting the Law of Attraction to work for you.

7 Steps to Raising your Vibration

Those of you who have seen the movie The Secret or who are familiar with the Law of Attraction will realise how important it is for us to raise our vibration, or in other words, how important it is to 'feel good' as much as possible during our day, every day.

Having a high vibration, that feeling of enthusiasm for life will serve to act like a magnet that will continuously attract more and more things and circumstances that resonate with that high vibration.

So, here are seven great tips on raising YOUR vibration that you can use immediately.

1.  Police your thoughts

Be aware and mindful of the thoughts that you allow yourself or find yourself thinking.  As soon as you become aware that a thought is making you feel bad, understand the value of dropping that thought.  Thoughts should flow freely through your mind, and these can be negative or positive, the ones that count are the thoughts that 'stick' in your mind, the thoughts that you continuously think over and over are the ones that will affect your vibration.  As soon as you realise that you are stuck in a thought that is causing you to feel bad, that alone is enough to remove the thought.  Purposefully focus on thoughts that you like and that make you feel good.  Be like the good gardener, who waters the plants and not the weeds.

2.  Speak only of what you want, never about what you do not want

Develop this simple habit of speaking only in terms of the end products that you want.  Language is extremely powerful and every word and concept is accompanied by a feeling that either lowers or raises our vibration.  The mind/universe/God does not understand negatives i.e. the word NOT.  For example, If you are cycling your bike and see a stone in the road you immediately begin focusing on NOT hitting the stone,  To think of not hitting it you have to see a picture in your mind of yourself hitting the stone to understand what NOT to do and in all probability with that laser sharp focus all of us are capable of, we hit the very object we try to avoid.  THIS IS WORTH RE-READING!

3.  Surround yourself with positive and like minded people.

Have you every had the experience of being around someone for a short period of time only to find yourself feeling bad, drained of energy and enthusiasm?  These psychic vampires tend to be people who have lost their understanding of the abundant nature of the universe; they derive their self esteem and vibration energy by spreading their pessimistic opinions and by sometimes intentionally putting others down.  They tend to believe in lack, and have an air of pessimism or hopelessness about them.  When you ask such a person 'How’s Life?' the usually respond "Taking Forever!".  On the other hand have you ever met people who you walk away from feeling energised, enthusiastic, and happy?  Like-minded people tend to have a synergistic effect on each others vibrations when they meet.  Inspired ideas can sometimes come out of the blue during a 5 minute conversation with such people.

4.  Spend time in 'The Now'

Eckhart Tolle in his book "The Power of Now" informs us of the value of ceasing the flow of thoughts relating to the past or the future.  Spending time observing what is happening right in front of our noses is a powerful way to raise our vibration energy.  By ceasing the chatter of the mind we return to our natural state of alignment with the universe and recharge our batteries.  Once we are on the same high level of vibration as the universe we can literally communicate with it.  Ideas, inspiration, answers, realisations all happen while in this state of being known as 'The Now'.

5.  Tithing - Set aside time or money to give away

Robert Kiyosaki recommends you set up 3 piggy banks and save the same amount in each one every day.  The first one is for savings, the second is for investing and the third is for tithing,  that is, money you are committed to just giving away.  This is a secret of the rich person’s mindset due to the fact that it raises the feel good factor, and thus your vibration.  Even if you have no money nothing stops you acting in this way, it works the same if you save 10 cents per day or 1000 dollars per day.  Imagine how good you would feel by donating money to a worthy cause every month and having them express their gratitude to you for it. 

6.  Be selective about what you watch and listen to on Television/Radio/Media.

Most people allow the media intravenous access to their minds.  Newspaper headlines create horrific imagery and feelings at a glance,  news services decide what news we 'need' to hear, whether it is useful to us or not, and some television programs show us the ugly nasty side of life,  the internet is full of opportunities to waste time and absorb useless information.  Take control of the media by being selective about what you watch and listen to.  Select programs and material that inspire you or at the very least educate you in something useful.  In this way the media can be a tremendous tool to raise your vibration level (Just look at the phenomenal coverage of The Secret in the media at present!)

7.  Count your blessings

If you ever feel down or feel your vibrations are low, you will probably observe that you are dwelling on some thought that is de-pressing these vibrations.  If you begin to count your blessings and think of all the things that are going right in your life, all of the things you are grateful to be part of or to have, then your thoughts become feelings of optimism, enthusiasm, high vibration which then begin attracting immediately to you, more blessings to count, and circumstances to be grateful for!

Law of Attraction Tip #15

Feel good even when you don't FEEL like feeling good. In fact, the more you don't want to be positive, the greater the need for you to BE positive! When life has you down and all you want to do is curl into a ball and hide - that is when you need positive energy the most. Even if you have to take baby steps to work your way back into the light - DO IT!

Law of Attraction Tip #16

Focus intense emotional happiness and positive vibrations on your true desires in life as often as you can. The Law of Attraction works on a cumulative scale. The more you vibrate in a truly positive manner, the faster you get what you want. There are no "rules" that say how often or for how long you should undertake these activities, but it is clear that the more often you do it, the better. It is not possible to feel positive TOO often! At least 15 continuous, uninterrupted minutes per day is recommended, and more than that is even better.

Law of Attraction Tip #17

Don't jump to "take action" every time something doesn't go your way in life. Our habits have been formed in such a way that we think the only way to "fix" something is to take massive action against it. Not true! By taking massive action, all we are doing is continuing to convince ourselves that the problem must be huge. Instead, focus on the positive opposite of that problem, and a solution will present itself - without you continuing to create negative energy by taking massive action against that thing.

Law of Attraction Tip #18

One of the simplest and most effective ways to turn a negative situation around is to simply SMILE. We're not talking about smiling at the situation, although that may also be appropriate. Instead, we are talking about putting together a list of things for you to think about that simply bring a true heartfelt smile to your face. Whenever you are feeling down or unable to control your negative feelings, just consult your list and smile when you think of one or more of the things on the list. You can choose things like envisioning two kittens tumbling all over each other as they play; maybe a puppy barking at the TV because he sees another animal there; perhaps a cherished memory of a child, a family member, or a loved one. The better the vision or the memory, the more powerful the smile will be!

Law of Attraction Tip #19

A simple and silly - but very effective - way to get positive energy flowing when you least feel like it is to simply focus on flowing positive energy. Choose a person, an inanimate object, a tree - anything. Just stare at the thing you have chosen and simply imagine overflowing it with love! Picture waves of goodness and positive vibrations emanating from you and being swallowed up by the object of your attention. Not only does this have the affect of stopping your negative energy flow simply because you have something else to focus on, but you get the humor factor going, too. If concentrating on how much you love a street sign, a dust bunny, or your shoelace doesn't bring a silly grin to your face, then nothing will!

Law of Attraction Tip #20

Dance & Sing! Every one of us has songs that simply make us feel good. In fact, sometimes when we are relishing in a bath of (seemingly) well-deserved negativity, we WON'T listen to that song because we are enjoying the chance to wallow in self-pity. Rubbish! Negativity will get you nowhere, so turn that song on and sing! If you are not driving, then dance, too! The worse your singing voice is and the more you can't dance, the better you will feel for belting out the effort anyway!

Law of Attraction Tip #21

When your "Inner Self" sends you a message, listen to it! The more we vibrate positive emotions, the closer we become to who we TRULY are. Flashes of intuition and inspired ideas are a direct result of us gaining a closer relationship with our all-powerful inner selves. Human instincts teach us to survive. Human intuition, on the other hand, teaches us to be happy. If you want to be happy, then learn how to respond when clues and answers are given to you.

Law of Attraction Tip #8

A simple and powerful way to use the Law of Attraction is called "Intending". By making a conscious effort to "intend" to do something, you call upon the resources that will be required to make that thing happen. Start out small with this method to learn how it works. Say that you "intend" to make it to work on time today. "Intend" to have a smile for everyone that you see today. Say that you "intend" to be very productive today. By consistently "intending" to do things - even small things - you are constantly building up the positive emotional vibration of Self-confidence. As you get more and more proficient at this, you will be amazed at how much your confidence soars, and how you can literally "intend" for anything to happen - and it will!

Law of Attraction Tip #9

You have to stop focusing on the negative things in your life right now! Remember, the Law of Attraction works both ways. Whether you focus on something negative, or something positive, you will receive something out of that attraction - whether you want it or not. So, if you focus on something negative in your life - work, family, health, whatever - you are guaranteed to attract more of it!

Law of Attraction Tip #10

Our "reality" today is nothing more than the result of how we have been flowing our energy up to this point by using our feelings. Good, bad, or indifferent - YOU are the only one responsible for where your life is right now. The great news is that it doesn't MATTER where your life is right now! By flowing your energy differently from now on and only feeling positive emotions, you can literally create your tomorrow to be whatever you want it to be!

Law of Attraction Tip #11

Focus on what you want in life as if you already had it. Do whatever it takes to create the positive emotional state that you will experience when you actually have whatever it is that you desire. Do this as opposed to focusing on what you DON'T want! For example: If you want to lose weight, don't say "I want to lose weight". All that does is remind you that you think you weigh too much! Instead, picture in your mind how you will look when you get to your goal weight, and imagine how great that will make you feel. This creates positive energy flow, rather than the habitual negative energy flow that automatically comes forth when you say "I want to lose weight". No matter what it is that you desire, you must create the positive emotional energy associated with already having that thing, which will ultimately attract that thing right to you!

Law of Attraction Tip #12

Never ever worry about HOW you are going to get what you want! This one misconception is responsible for a large portion of the failure that exists in our society today. The idea behind the Law of Attraction is that you flow positive energy out into the Universe by having feelings of success, happiness, and fulfillment when you visualize the things that you want to get out of life. The Universe will provide the things that you “feel” about, but it will not work if you worry about how it is all going to happen, or even IF it is going to happen. Doubt breeds insecurity and lack of focus. KNOW that you will get what you want, and leave the details of HOW it is going to happen to the power of the Universe!

Law of Attraction Tip #13

Don't be afraid to "tender talk" yourself. By telling yourself in a soothing manner that everything is going to be okay, you immediately start producing positive energy. Talking out loud radically increases the effectiveness of this technique and you will be amazed at how quickly you start to feel better.

Law of Attraction Tip #14

Always remember that negative energy is created by your reaction to something. No matter how justified you may be in getting angry or upset about something, your justification means nothing to the Universe. You will create damaging negativity that directly affects you in a negative manner - no matter how justified you were for getting upset in the first place.
